Customer Relationship Management Systems
We have developed a suite of guides to accompany the CRMS of a major financial services organization.
Data Warehousing
We have developed User Guides, Administrator’s Guides, case studies, and brochures for a data-warehousing product. The product helps organizations amalgamate information lying in several locations and databases to result in output that shows accurate information.
ERP
Created a suite of guides for a manufacturing company that had developed an in-house ERP system. Some of the modules for which new User’s Guides were created are: QMS, Shop Capacity Planning, BOM, Material Requirement Planning, Trading, Customer Order Processing, Inventory, Purchases, and Financial Accounting.
Finance
We have edited documents and provided consultants to develop online Help for the flagship product of a global financial services provider. Ongoing work is being done for a client in the arena of business-to-business commerce outsourcing and financial service solutions.
Healthcare
Wrote the HTML Help pages for a Web-based system that is used to convert existing patient data into statutory formats required in the US. We also worked with developers to review the API documentation they created using Javadocs for different products and ensured they followed the API documentation standards recommended by Sun Microsystems.
Another assignment in the Healthcare space was to re-engineer a Design Document to conform to the manner in which the product actually worked. This required close interaction with the development team to arrive at the document outline and an understanding of the way the product was designed.
Wrote modules of Administrator’s guides and Training guides for a Healthcare product that manages patient data and serves as a common platform for nurses, supervisors, and patients.
Logistics
Created the User Manual for a product that tracks goods shipments across various global locations and alerts users of the status of the shipment they are seeking.
Network Security
Updated manuals and Online help of a network security product. This involved extensive research on computer networks and network security. Updates dealt with anti-spyware remediation, inoculation of computers, report generation, and provision of access rights. Contributed to single-source of a peer-to-peer network security document.
Created the Administrator’s Guide, Setup Guide, extensive Online help and Release Notes for multiple versions of a network security product.
Performance Appraisal Systems
A large US corporation designed a complex product to that enabled a corporate vision to be separated into areas of focus for different departments within the organization. This resulted in a top-down flow of goals that were assigned across the organization. Assessment of individual and group-level performance tied into the corporate goal set making it possible to assess how effectively the corporate vision was achieved. This system required complex algorithms for computing performance and this was documented in a printed User Guide and Administrator Guide. Online Help for the system was also developed.
Research-based Web Content
A product company that develops products in the Multivariate Analysis arena required content for their site. Write Concept researched information in several company repositories to gather information about the various scientific methods handled by the products as well as case studies of their use in different verticals.
Sales and Marketing
Created a User’s Manual for marketing personnel of a software development company to create demos of their product based on the type of industry their customers operate in. The product enables users to retrieve sales data and use it in conjunction with sales-related information.
Created User Guides and Online help for a product that allows customers to model, automate, monitor, and optimize their businesses.
Telecom
Created Administrator’s Guide and User’s Guide for a product that helps service providers offer content-based services to users of cell phones and track monthly service usage for billing purposes.
